Last week, another digital presentation was arranged, this time with the American color giant Sherwin Williams. Sherwin Williams is the United States’ largest producer of architectural coatings (house paint), but also manufactures paint and surface treatments for, for example, cars and aircraft. The company has delivered impressive historical growth, with an average, annual EPS growth of almost 10% over the past ten years. It is clear that the paint industry is a very profitable industry to operate in – painting is for the majority a small part of a total investment, but important for the impression. Last year, Sherwin benefited from how the consumer segment was very strong, as many took the opportunity to repaint to a greater extent than usual – a trend that is expected to continue in 2021. The commercial market is still more uncertain, but the company expects that demand returns. We look forward to keep follow Sherwin Williams’ continued development.
