During October we arranged an interesting presentation with Torsten Jansson, CEO at New Wave. The company reported record net sales for the third quarter of the year, despite a weaker market. Particularly good growth was noted in the largest segment, “Corporate” (+34%) while other segments; “Sports & Leisure” and “Gifts & Home Furnishings” declined marginally. Torsten foresees a tougher market 6-12 months ahead, but expresses no concern given the company’s strong balance sheet. He believes in continued opportunities to increase market share.
