Around fifty of Nordic Equities’ clients had the pleasure of listening to thoughts on “The future of France, opportunities in a global context” at the French ambassador’s residence.
The ambassador gave an interesting overview of the current European geopolitical situation and the reforms President Emanuel Macron has implemented over the past 6 years to stimulate the French economy, start-ups and international investments. We also heard the ambassador’s thoughts on the geopolitical situation in Europe, which was very interesting as the ambassador, before coming to Sweden, was an advisor to President Macron on these issues.
Jonas Jakobson also had the opportunity to talk about four French companies in a sector that is not so well known in Sweden, but which now has a market capitalisation almost as large as the entire Swedish stock market and which is included in our global fund “Global Stars”.
