Jonas Jakobson, founder of Nordic Equities, recently gave presentations in Washington and New York on the theme “The Sixth Investment Path.” He highlighted the strong position of the Nordic region in a global context – a region that, with only 0.3 % of the world’s population, accounts for about 1 % of global GDP and distinguishes itself through stable institutions, innovation, and leading companies within technology, healthcare, and advanced industries.
The presentation focused on GURAIS – globalization, urbanization, robotization, artificial intelligence/digitalization, and standardization – as long-term drivers. Jonas also emphasized the Nordic region’s unique combination of political stability, low government debt, and high transparency, factors that make it attractive to international investors.
