Since 2002, the Jakobson family has awarded young people at upper secondary schools in Stockholm through an entrepreneurial prize. It is important that young people aged 16-18 are inspired and encouraged to manage own projects. It can be a business project or a non-profit organization. The prize has been given to many talented young people for, among other things, to sell Indian tea where the money went to an orphanage in India, started by Malala Yousafzai who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. Other projects has been education of middle school students in economics or help with homework for students in collaboration with sports associations.
To apply for the price, send a description of your project to info@stipendiet.se. Please visit the Family Foundation’s website for more information, https://www.jjstiftelse.com/.
